TPS Alliance Calls on Biden to Designate TPS for Ukraine
(Los Angeles, CA) Due to the recent invasion of Russian military forces into Ukraine, initiating a conflict which will inevitably increase the threat of violence and instability in the country, the Veronica Lagunas of the National TPS Alliance calls on the Biden administration to designate Temporary Protected Status for migrants of Ukraine:
“Our organization is made up of many migrants who have fled from state sponsored violence and conflict. Many of us are refugees of war, and just cannot stand idly by to the situation in Ukraine. We will always stand unequivocally against all forms of war, violence, and political intervention. Today, we call on the Biden administration to designate TPS to all Ukrainian migrants in the midst of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The White House has a responsibility to all migrants fleeing from political conflict, which is why will always shed light on every time Biden should be using the full power of his executive authority to benefit as many immigrants as possible”– Veronica Lagunas, TPS Holder, National Spokesperson for the National TPS Alliance
