“A Sense of Hope for Our Struggle” – TPS Alliance Response to DACA Ruling

Washington DC – In another defeat for the Trump administration, the Supreme Court Justices, in a 5-4 ruling, have upheld DACA, the program which has protected over 750,000 immigrant children from deportation.  In response, National TPS Alliance Organizer William Martinez made the following statement:

“On behalf of the national TPS alliance, we congratulate all the youth that fought for DACA all these years.  It’s a victory that is theirs, and for all of our community.  As a DREAMer with TPS, today’s decision has still given me hope that our entire community will see the justice it so rightly deserves.”

“As we gear for our own mobilization on June 24th in Washington, DC, the struggle of the dreamers, this decision, gives us a sense of hope for our struggle.”
